Jacob Walthour, Jr. is Chief Executive Officer of Blueprint Capital Advisors LLC. Jacob has over 25 years of experience in capital markets, traditional and alternative investment management. Prior to founding BCA, he served as Vice Chairman of Product and Business Development at Ramius, the $11bbillion investment management division of Cowen & Company. He was responsible for developing the firm’s seeding and acceleration effort for emerging alternative investment organizations. He served on the firm’s management committee. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Cliffwater, a leading provider of hedge fund, private equity, real estate and real asset consulting. He served on the firm’s Investment Committee and was responsible for client consulting. Prior to joining Cliffwater, Jacob was a Partner and Managing Director at Citadel Investment Group where he managed the firm’s North American distribution effort.  Before Citadel, he was Head of Advisory Services at Aksia LLC, where he oversaw client consulting and portfolio management for the firm’s discretionary accounts. In addition, Jacob has held senior roles at Morgan Stanley Asset Management, Quellos Group and Moore Capital Management. At Morgan Stanley Asset Management, he advised some of the firm’s largest clients on asset allocation and investment implementation and built the firm’s Canadian asset management presence. Prior to Morgan Stanley he was Executive Assistant to the Comptroller of the State of New York and sole fiduciary of the New York State Common Retirement Fund. He was involved in the due diligence process for banks, brokerage firms, consultants, traditional and alternative investment firms. Jacob started his career at Lehman Brothers as an analyst in the investment banking division.

Jacob received his BA cum laude from the Nelson Rockefeller School at the State University of New York in Albany. He has served as Trustee for the New York Foundation for the Arts and as a Director of New York Cares. He also served on the Investment Subcommittee of the Girl Scouts of the United States of America for six years and the Board and Investment Committee of the University of Albany Alumni Foundation. He currently serves as a Trustee of the ECLC School of New Jersey which provides education and job training for children and adults with learning disabilities. Jacob has been a frequent speaker at pension, hedge fund and alternative investment conferences including events sponsored by SALT, Institutional Investor, Global ARC and Pensions and Investments. Jacob has been featured on CNBC and has contributed to a variety of articles in Vanity Fair, The Wall Street Journal, Institutional Investor Alpha and Bloomberg.

Carrie Pickett, CAIA, is President of Blueprint Capital Advisors LLC. Carrie has over 15 years of experience in family office asset management, private equity, and hedge funds focused on business operations and business development. Prior to founding BCA, she served as a Managing Director at Ramius LLC, the investment management division of Cowen & Company. She helped establish the firms emerging manager seeding and acceleration effort in 2014 and focused on manager sourcing across the liquid and private alternatives and negotiating and structuring revenue share transactions. Carrie joined Ramius from RiverRock Group in Houston, Texas, a family sponsored investment management organization where she served as Director of Investor Relations and Marketing. Prior to joining RiverRock, Carrie was Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Restoration Capital, a distressed debt hedge fund seeded by the Bass family.  She managed the firm’s client relationships and coordinated all aspects of due diligence meetings and external reporting. Prior to Restoration, she was the Controller at JME Opportunity Partners, a distressed corporate credit hedge and held responsibility for all non-investment related activities at the firm.

Carrie received her BA from Stanford University in Economics with a minor in Industrial Engineering. She is a member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds and has previously served on High Water Women’s Finance Committee. Carrie is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Egidio (Ed) Robertiello, CFA, is Chief Investment Officer of Blueprint Capital Advisors LLC. Ed has over 25 years of experience in traditional and alternative strategies covering portfolio management, asset allocation, manager research and selection, funds due diligence and operations. Previously, Ed was Senior Portfolio Manager at CalPERS responsible for the fund’s Absolute Return Strategies. Ed was responsible for implementation and management of investment strategy and policy for the pension fund’s approximately $5.5 billion portfolio in hedge fund investments. Ed was a member of CalPERS Investment Strategy Group (the internal investment committee that oversees $290 billion of assets across all asset classes), Operating Committee and Derivatives Committee.  Prior to CalPERS Ed was a managing director of hedge funds in the asset management group at Russell Investments. Prior to joining Russell, Ed was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse’s Asset Management business. He headed institutional hedge fund mandates globally. Previous to Credit Suisse, Ed held the position of Senior Managing Director of Investments and Research at Asset Alliance Corporation, leading hedge fund seeding opportunities, launching hedge fund products and overseeing multi-manager funds of hedge funds. Previously, as a Managing Director in the Blackstone Group’s fund of hedge fund affiliate Blackstone Alternative Asset Management, he created and led the Manager Identification and Selection team. Ed began his investment career at RJR Nabisco where he managed the pension fund, defined contribution and other trust investments and established an allocation to absolute return strategies in 1994.

Ed received his BA in Accounting from Montclair State University and his MBA in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Christine Chang is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Blueprint Capital Advisors LLC. Christine has over 20 years of experience in the institutional and family office asset management space in both traditional and alternative investments. Prior to joining BCA, Christine served hedge funds, private equity funds, institutions building their investment advisory business, and family offices structuring investments, leading senior management teams to build operational and regulatory infrastructure. Previously, she served as Chief Compliance Officer at Alternative Investment Management, an independent, privately-held investment management firm focused on hedge funds and private equity. Christine developed the firm’s compliance program, registered the firm with the SEC, and managed audits including SEC presence exams. Prior to Alternative Investment Management, LLC, she was the Chief Operating Officer of New York Private Bank & Trust, the wealth management division of Emigrant Bank, where she built the infrastructure to support ultra-high net worth clients.  Previously, Christine was Business Manager and advised on business development at MPI Professionals, LLC, a subsidiary of CGI Group, Inc., providing consulting to financial services firms. Christine also served at Credit Suisse in New York and London as: European Product Manager of Fixed Income Emerging Markets; Financial Analyst for the Global Head of Fixed Income; and Compensation Analyst in Human Resources. She began her career at Charles River Consultants, Inc. as a Project Manager in financial services technology consulting.

Christine received her BA from Cornell University. She serves as Chair of the board of Bottomless Closet, a not-for-profit empowering women in NYC to overcome poverty and achieve self-sufficiency for themselves and their families. In addition, she is a member of High Water Women and the Trust and Estates Committee of SUNY College of Optometry’s foundation. Christine is a mentor in Columbia Business School’s Nonprofit Board Leadership Program, as well as a mentor in Cornell's Alumni-Student Mentoring Program and a member of the Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network.

Catherine Beard, CFA, is a Director of Blueprint Capital Advisors LLC with responsibility for manager sourcing and research. Catherine has over 20 years of experience in traditional and alternative strategies including experience as a “buy-side” credit analyst on proprietary trading and hedge fund desks as well as experience in manager research, fund due diligence and portfolio management. Prior to joining BCA, Catherine was a Senior Manager on the Absolute Return Team of the $60 billion UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing strategy and implementation of the Trust’s allocation to Alternative Credit strategies and managers including private credit, direct lending, long/short credit, distressed and opportunistic strategies. Prior joining the Trust in 2013, Catherine was a senior member of the Hedge Fund Research Team at Mercer Investment Consulting, where she was focused on researching Absolute Return Credit strategies. During her tenure at Mercer, Catherine worked directly with corporate and public pension plans to implement over $1.5 billion of alternative manager allocations. She also authored in-depth white papers on distressed investing and strategic allocation within the alternative credit space. Prior to Mercer, Catherine was a credit analyst for UBS O’Connor's multi-strategy hedge fund and Northern Trust's high yield business in Chicago. In these capacities, she conducted fundamental credit analysis and provided relative value-driven investment recommendations across the capital structure. She started her career at Bank of America where she was a leveraged loan analyst on the proprietary trading desk.

Catherine received her BA in Political Science from the University of Kentucky and her MBA in Finance at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
